It's HOT

It's HOT! We've had a number of days with temps over 100, and gosh, it is HOT.  Thank goodness for the a/c at work! I can stay cool during the day, almost too cold some days.  We barely turn our a/c on at home thanks to no one being there during the day.  The kids don't seem to mind the warmth, which is good.  Give them a popsickle and let them loose in the backyard with the hose and they are in heaven. 

I'm getting more and more excited for tomorrow's festivities being the 4th of July.  Parade madness, barbecue fun, and firework viewing are all on my list of to-do's.  It will be nice to stick around home and enjoy what these parts have to offer in the way of Independence Day celebration.
