I wasn't always an avid soda drinker. I hardly ever opted for fizzed beverages, but when I started working full time (after being a SAHM for four years), it was the only thing that I could turn to for some relief to my extreme exhaustion, no doubt induced by the crazy, hectic schedule I'd been living.
Ah, caffeine.
Even though I quit my job months ago, I'm still on the carbonated sauce. Diet Coke is my beverage of choice. I've read a few articles that scream "soda is bad for you" and "drinking diet soda will shorten your life expectancy" but I have yet to be swayed from drinking my elixir of life.
