Sometimes I wish I could go back to life 5 years ago when I had all the time in the world to create, to craft, and to just make stuff. I miss that extra time, but wishing away the time I have now to go back won't get me anywhere. To curb my yearning for creative time, I've been looking back through some of the old projects I undertook when I did have all that extra time, hoping that I might find and recapture that once-familiar spark of creativity. There are many projects that never got their debut in this space. I'm currently working through those projects by photographing them in order to get them displayed here.
First up: House of 3 Mini
In 2009 I lifted an idea I saw on the internet where someone had used tea-stained envelopes in a mini album. I loved the result so I gave it a whirl. Staining the envelopes myself was a fun undertaking, and the imperfection of the stain is what I fell in love with.
