Liliane has been asking about Easter since before Valentines day. Her anticipation of Easter this year was almost as intense as her anticipation of Christmas.
Sunday was especially great. We got up early in time to get ready for church and take a quick family picture. Sacrament meeting was a fast/testimony meeting and I was so grateful that the testimonies shared were full of testaments to the Savior and the living gospel. Wesley was asked to give a talk in Primary on Sunday, too, and he talked about it all week long. He was so excited to get up and talk about how Heavenly Father speaks to us through his prophets. After church we came home and prepped a delicious barbeque Easter feast. We made deviled eggs, homemade potato salad, raspberry Jello and hamburgers hot off the grill. After dinner we held our little family egg hunt. It wasn’t hard for the kids to spot the brightly colored eggs in the rocks but the ease didn’t do anything to subdue the kids’ excitement.
